Adaptix are delighted to announce that our Chief Science Officer (Dr Gil Travish) is a recipient of the first Royal Society Entrepreneurs in Residence Scheme. The Entrepreneur in Residence Scheme has been set up to support UK Universities in translating their world leading research into new businesses and commercial products. Recipients were chosen by Fellows of the Royal Society, comprising of eminent scientists, technologists and engineers from the UK and the Commonwealth.
The Royal Society has featured Adaptix's Dr Aquila Mavalankar in their recent video about her Industry Fellowship with the Rutherton Appleton Laboratory. This scheme is aimed at academic scientists who want to work on a collaborative project within industry and for scientists within industry who want to work with companies on a collaborative project with an academic organisation.
